2. Description of Service

CollegeWard is an AI-powered study companion application designed for medical and healthcare students. The App provides features including but not limited to: note uploads and processing, AI-generated flashcards, quiz generation, AI tutoring, progress tracking, and gamification features.

3. User Accounts

• You must create an account to access most features of the App
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

The App offers a free tier with limited features. Free tier limitations may change at any time.

4.2 Premium Subscriptions

• Premium features require a paid subscription
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice

4.3 Refunds

Refunds are handled according to the policies of Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on where you made your purchase.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the App, including notes, documents, and other materials. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display this content solely to provide our services.

5.2 Content Restrictions

You agree not to upload content that:

• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Is illegal, harmful, or violates any applicable laws
• Contains personally identifiable information of others without consent

6. AI-Generated Content

The App uses artificial intelligence to generate flashcards, quizzes, and tutoring responses. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
• AI content should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice or education
• You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of AI-generated content
• We do not guarantee the completeness or correctness of AI-generated content

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated systems to access the App without permission
• Resell or redistribute the App or its content

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-uploaded content), is owned by CollegeWard and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COLLEGEWARD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
